Interesting Connection

It’s interesting how the heart and mind work in connection.

Someone/thing could be long gone but still exist so vividly in the heart, allowing us to remember. The heartbeat goes faster with the thoughts.

Even after mental confirmation that it does not exist outside of the mind, the heart still feels and cannot stop itself. It’s why loving is so complicated. Loving a place, or our homes, our sweet pets, our children, our siblings, our parents, grandparents, our friends, or our lovers. If they leave us, either by death or choice – we continue loving.

Sometimes the heart cannot love the same anymore – it just secretly breaks and mends over and over, forever.

Is there a way to make more room in the heart? A way to rewire a memory so it does not stimulate the heart the same way anymore?

I used to study psychology too… but don’t know the answers. I think a lot, that’s just the way I am – my heart and brain have an interesting connection, that’s just the way it is. I wouldn’t want it any other way but I’m still curious, if there is a way?

Training the mind to relax and let go, again and again, however many times needed. At least that’s my solution, and reminding myself to be in the moment.

The biggest blessing in life is to be loved and cherished, and to have loved and cherished. Even though our hearts become changed from it, and our minds will always make some connection.

I love my life so much. The special people, places and animals I’ve loved throughout my life will always stay in my heart, where they’ll come to mind from time to time.
