Art

I like to draw with pencil the most, but also enjoy using charcoal, conte crayon, pastels, water color, and acrylic paint. Sometimes I just like coloring in mandalas. Sketching peoples’ faces is my favorite, capturing an emotion – I like to look at the subject while I draw. Usually the urge comes in bursts and then I don’t draw for months again. I have moments where suddenly an image comes to mind and I have to draw it. I remember as a little girl I would draw a sun with a face on it so often. Both my parents are very artistic, my mom especially is an amazing painter of trees. It’s important to keep practicing and maintaining the skill – true talent doesn’t ever go away though. Just have to remember to let ourselves be creative!
